Mission: Mae’s Homeless Initiative (MHI) is to strengthen low -income individuals, families and communities by providing quality, safe, decent and affordable housing and nutritional food products and resources. Both the housing and nutritionals programs serve and support those who are homeless and most vulnerable in society. Mae’s Homeless Initiative seeks to provide other forms of economic opportunity for low -to – moderate- income individuals throughout its service area which includes Clayton , Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton ,and Gwinnett Counties in greater Atlanta, Georgia area and Richmond County and Augusta , Georgia . Our purpose is to empower, teach and train individuals in an effort to assist poverty and decreasing dependency on the public sector. Mae’s Homeless Initiative will partner with organizations while combining resources for the betterment of low-income-individual s throughout its service area
